Unlike a traditional funeral, a memorial service is a gathering where a casket is not present (although the urn may be on display). A memorial service can be held weeks or even months after the death. A memorial service can be personalized to meet the needs of your family and friends.

The majority of families who to choose to have a memorial and celebration of life for their loved one also choose cremation. This can be completed before or after the service, depending on if the urn is to be present.
