Scattering Services
For families who have chosen cremation for a loved one, the next decision involves what to do with the remains. Some choose to keep the cremated remains in their home, have them placed in a columbarium niche at a local cemetery, or scatter the ashes in a meaningful place.
Eco-Friendly Options
Many of us think of a ‘green’ funeral as a burial in a woodland cemetery, using a shroud or a biodegradable casket. However, there is no clear answer as to which is considered more eco friendly, cremation or burial. But, there are many aspects that can be considered when planning a funeral to be environmentally friendly as possible.
Repatriation
Repatriation is the act of restoring a person to their native land. There may be a personal desire to be buried in the native country that person was born in. Alternatively, the family may feel that the person's soul may not be at peace if the body was buried anywhere but their homeland.
Aftercare Services
In the counseling professions, aftercare involves ensuring an individual navigates times of personal transition; and it means much the same to us. Basically, our aftercare program is split into aspects: grief support and practical assistance with estate-related issues.
